Decision support

Information and estimates, not professional advice.

Verify current facts

Check the exact address and primary source.

Reasonable use

Personal research is welcome; bulk extraction is not.

1. Acceptance

By accessing or using OCity.org, you agree to these Terms of Use and our Privacy Policy and Data License. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

2. Informational purpose

OCity is a research and decision-support platform. It is not a real-estate broker, insurer, school authority, public-safety agency, financial adviser, tax adviser, attorney or relocation adviser. Content and calculators do not replace professional advice or current records from the responsible authority.

3. Changing data and estimates

City, housing, salary, tax, weather, school, safety, commute and market information may be mixed-vintage, modeled, directional or incomplete. Prices and conditions change. OCity does not guarantee that any value is current, complete or suitable for a particular decision. Verify the exact address, property, route, assignment, quote and applicable rule before acting.

4. Permitted use

You may access OCity for ordinary personal, educational and internal research; link to public pages; and make limited quotations with clear attribution and a link to the relevant OCity page.

5. Prohibited use

Unless OCity gives written permission, you may not scrape or extract the service at scale; mirror or republish substantial portions; resell OCity data or reports; evade rate limits, robots controls or access restrictions; interfere with security or operation; falsely imply endorsement; remove attribution or provenance; or use substantial extracted content to build a competing database, commercial data product, or training/benchmarking corpus.

6. Intellectual property

OCity retains rights in its original editorial content, selection and arrangement, derived presentation, scoring logic, interfaces, visualizations, branding and software. Public facts and third-party materials remain subject to the rights and terms of their original providers. See the Data License.

7. Third-party sources and links

OCity references government agencies, school districts, transit providers and other third parties. Their content, availability and policies are outside OCity’s control. A link does not imply endorsement, and third-party terms may apply.

8. Calculators and modeled results

Calculator output and modeled estimates depend on assumptions and user inputs. Results are illustrative and may not reflect taxes, eligibility, financing, insurance, fees or individual circumstances.

9. Disclaimer of warranties

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of accuracy, availability, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose or non-infringement.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, OCity will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or losses arising from reliance on content, unavailable service, third-party data or decisions made using the service.

11. Indemnity

You agree to be responsible for claims and costs arising from your unlawful use of the service, violation of these terms, or infringement of another party’s rights.

12. Changes and severability

OCity may update these terms as the service changes. The effective date identifies the current version. If a provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue to apply.

13. Contact

Questions or permission requests may be sent to hello@ocity.org.

These operational terms are not legal advice. Consider qualified legal review as OCity’s business and data products evolve.
