How this scenario is calculated
The model combines recorded city cost fields with a reverse salary search under simplified tax and household assumptions:
- Federal & payroll taxes: Modeled 2026 brackets and payroll-tax constants
- State & limited local taxes: Simplified state-rate proxies and selected local rules
- Living costs: Housing, groceries, utilities and transport estimates from included city fields
The output is a modeled gross-salary reference that targets a similar remainder after included taxes and costs. It is not a complete budget, tax return or negotiation requirement.
